Roles in Viva Pulse
In the Microsoft 365 environment, users can have one of the following roles for Viva Pulse:

Users assigned the feedback author role can send Viva Pulse requests to direct reports, team members, or other users across the organization. They can then view the feedback results of their Pulse request and share the report with stakeholders. - Feedback provider
Users assigned the feedback provider role are the users in the organization that receive Pulse requests. They can then respond to Pulse requests and provide the feedback necessary to facilitate aggregation of data and reporting of insights. - Viva Pulse admin
Users with the Viva Pulse admin role can configure Microsoft Viva Pulse for end users, feedback authors and providers, from within the Viva Pulse admin experience. Only a Microsoft 365 Global Admin can assign a user as a Viva Pulse admin.
